SSR249 in Germany: Can I convert it to Full Auto? Is it programmable?
We do offer the 0.5 Joule variant of the SSR249 specifically for Germany.
There is no option to convert this gun to semi-only to be used at a higher power in Germany.
How does the warranty work?
The SSR249 has a 2-year warranty if purchased directly from NOVRITSCH.COM. For general warranty information, please refer to this page.

Which battery and BBs should I use?
BB & Battery Recommendations:
0.5 Joules: 0.20 g BBs – 11.1 V battery

Which springs can the SSR249 take?
To prevent internal damage, only use springs with a power of up to 2 Joules with the hop up turned off.
We recommend using our springs, which you can find here.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The power output of the gun is too high or too low.
Please ensure that you are using the recommended weight of BBs and trying different hopup settings when measuring, as this affects the power output.
Whenever you notice the power dropping, clean the inner barrel and hopup bucking, as there might be dirt or lubricant inside.
If the power loss is higher than 20%, there may be a problem with the air seal components. Especially if the gun has been used for over a year without a service, cleaning and re-lubrication of the gearbox assembly might be required.
The gun is not hopping the BBs properly, or they are curving.
Thoroughly clean your inner barrel and bucking, as this is most likely the cause of the problem.
If this does not resolve the issue, check if any parts of your hopup chamber are missing or damaged, and if the hopup bucking is aligned properly.
The gun does not shoot, despite a battery being connected.
Check if the battery works and is fully charged.
Follow the “Disassembly” video on our SSR249 academy page to latch the stock open, and check if either of the motor connector cables are disconnected. If that is the case, plug them back in and check the functionality again.
If this does not help, the cables may be damaged, one of the wires on the trigger switch has disconnected or the switch itself is damaged.
The trigger does not respond properly or at all when pressing it, there is no click from the switch.
The SSR249 comes with an adjustable trigger screw in the grip, which pushes on the trigger switch. If that screw is adjusted too low, it may not contact the switch properly.
Please ensure not to adjust it upwards too much, as this may cause the gun to fire after letting go of the trigger.
The “Sound Control” function of the magazine does not work.
The microphone for this function of the magazine sits in the top part of the magazine that attaches to the gun. This microphone picks up the sound of the gearbox cycling, which will then activate the motor in the magazine to feed while the gun is firing.
The microphone is connected to the magazine’s control unit via a wire going through the coiled tubes. If the top part of the magazine is pulled away from the magazine body, this can cause the wire to unplug, which is intended, as the wire would rip out otherwise.
By opening the magazine body, the microphone wire can be plugged back in, which should restore the functionality.
After putting the barrel back into the gun, it does not feed properly or at all.
If the gun suddenly does not feed properly after taking out the barrel and putting it back into the gun, the hopup chamber may be misaligned.
Please ensure that the hopup chamber is installed properly, as explained at the 12:20 mark in the “Assembly” video below:
After prolonged use, the trigger switch is not reacting as intended anymore.
If the trigger switch has to be replaced after extensive use of the gun, this can easily be done without opening the gearbox.
First, remove the gearbox from the receiver by following the “Disassembly” video on our academy page and remove the cables from the motor.
Once this is done, remove the two screws marked below, which hold the trigger switch in place, and take it out. When exchanging the switch, just make sure that the cables are installed onto the right connector on the new switch.
