You may find that over time or after a fall or knock during a game, the front sight on your SSP1 may be loose or may have even come off. Thankfully, there is no need to worry and nor does the front sight or slide need to be replaced. You will find at the very front that there is a small hole and you may not realise that there is indeed a small screw in there.
Using a 0.9mm Allen Key, carefully tighten the screw back into its place but do not overdo it, you don’t want to damage the screw or the threading.
To help keep the screw secured in place, you can use the tiniest drop of screw glue, which is included in the Maintenence Kit.
